  1. This is very true, people with technology does not lead to solitude hahaha. but could this be a result of solitude? Perhaps many people out there feel a necessity to use technology to escape the fact that they are truly living a life of solitude. Its never good when most of your friends only talk to you on the internet, like facebook or something. Honestly, half of everybody's friends dont even talk to them in person. I think this is a dilemma that we as a society are going to have to deal with.

  2. I agree with Danny, just because people turn to technology does not mean that they are alone. I think the whole idea is that technology never lets a person be alone because people are able to stay so connected.

  3. I agree with this picture, technology and constantly being with and around people does not lead to solitude. I think once in a while it is nice to just be alone and away from all of the chaos because it gives us time to think.

  4. I think many people have a fear of solitude which explains why there is such a need for technology connecting people 24/7. The last picture is interesting because even though the guy is alone, he looks very peaceful and is probably enjoying his time to himself. Like Kaylee said, alone time allows us time to organize our thoughts and think.

  5. In my opinion, a lot of people would rather communicate through technology instead of face to face, which is rather ridiculous. Many high school kids today are constantly on their cell phones instead of interacting with the people that are right next to them. -Richard H

  6. First, I like how you used images instead of paragraphs to quickly address this idea. Second, I both agree and disagree with this. While the use of technology may stem from solitude, it is an attempt to overcome such with devices allowing you to always have a heads up on what your friends are doing and being able to contact anyone whenever needed. However, it can allow one to live their social life through others' 'status updates' and text messaging instead of talking in person and socializing with your peers, causing us to develop a lack of social skills for the real world.
